Evan is a senior at WCHS and a regular patron to the media center. He is an enthusiastic reader and it is a pleasure to serve him! WCHS is recognized as a Common Sense Certified Digital Citizenship School! Ware County High School demonstrated a commitment to taking a whole-community approach to preparing students to use the immense power of digital media to explore, create, connect, and learn while limiting the perils that exist in the online realm. Using the Common Sense Education's innovative research-based digital citizenship resources, the high school media center's faculty developed a plan that involved the students, school faculty, and community. Successful implementation of this plan resulted the achievement of this important certification.

Congratulations to our Region Technology Competition winners!WCHS had great success at the region technology competition held on January 25 at South Georgia State College. 12 students competed and won 1st place in 7 category divisions. All the students who competed will be advancing to the State competition which will be held on March 9 at Middle Georgia State University in Macon. Way to go WCHS students!
